About Spoondles

Leela
In an effort to release my creativity and passion for food, I birthed Spoondles. I'm a 26 year old college and culinary grad, aspiring writer, passionate eater, hopeless over eater, and constant daydreamer. I live to eat. I believe it's important for your body to eat healthy, fresh, and nutritious food. I also believe it's important for your soul to indulge in rich fatty and extravagant morsels. It's all about balance. I love to cook creatively and eat adventurously.

I started Spoondles as a place to share my affairs, questions, experiments, observations, adventures and insights on the subject I love best- food. I wanted a place to post great recipes, have fun with my writing, share my stories, and immerse myself even more into the world of food. You should know that I am not be the best chef, healthiest eater, funniest person, or most knowledge person about food. However, I am passionate, fun, positive, curious, adventurous, and honest. This is a new expereince for me and I am learning as I go.  I am flawed and in many ways, my blog is flawed too. Which is what makes it so special to me. What I do know is that this blog is 100% me. So please have fun reading it because I'm having tons of fun writing it! :)

Sita
Sita recently graduated from Cal Poly with a degree in Nutrition. She is now attending Bauman College, a Holistic School in San Francisco where she is learning to create yummy recipes that are high in nutrients and low in calories. She believes having a sustainable diet while utilizing the use of local, organic and seasonal recipes is important. Regardless of this knowledge and belief, she is happiest with a milk shake in one hand and fried chicken in the other. What can you expect? She's my sister.
